Probably the most infamous radio broadcast in history, Orson Welles' version of H.G. Wells' "The War Of The Worlds" caused mass hysteria on the East coast of the United States on October 30th, 1938. Grover's Mill, New Jersey (now West Windsor Township, Princeton, NJ) is the initial site of a Martian attack on the World.
