The Great Train Robbery (1903)

Probably the only Western to be filmed in New Jersey! A gang of robbers tie up a station master and board a train when it makes a water stop. Any more of a description would be longer than the movie itself. The final scene of a robber firing his pistol directly at the camera (see picture at left) had audiences ducking for cover.
